Bird Inkwell in pewter with silver plating and blown-in olive green glass liner, which forms the belly of the bird. Circa 1910. The hinged lid reveals a matching olive-colored removable glass inkwell insert. Although the style is similar to the very pricy English birds made by Martin Brothers around the same time, this piece was produced by Josef Reinemann in Munich. Unsigned. Wear to the silver as shown. Glass is perfect. 4 1/2 x 5 x 4". SOLD
